SPANISH PROGRAM AT SAINT BENEDICT SCHOOL
Communication is the key to the modern world and Saint Benedict gives its students the opportunity to learn a second language, the language that is spoken by our neighbors from Mexico to Argentina.
Learning another language is not only about repeating sounds and words; it is about learning the culture and being able to communicate in Spanish.
In our Spanish classes, children learn songs, make crafts, draw, and paint or play as children do in Spanish speaking countries.
It is a playful and natural way to learn and get familiar with different sounds and words.
Our teacher teaches Colombian Spanish which is said to be the best Spanish spoken anywhere in the world other than in Spain. This guarantees that Saint Benedict School’s students get the basics and fundamentals of the Spanish language in hope these kids can communicate in Spanish sometime in the near future.
