Communication is the key to the modern world.  Saint Benedict Catholic School gives its students the opportunity to increase their communications skills by learning a second language, the language that is spoken by our neighbors from Mexico to Argentina.

Learning another language is not only about repeating sounds and words; it is also about learning the culture of the countries speaking that language.

In SBCS Spanish classes, children learn songs, make crafts, draw, and paint or play as children do in Spanish speaking countries.  It is a playful and natural way to learn and become familiar with different sounds and words.

Colombian Spanish, said to be the best Spanish spoken outside of Spain, is taught guaranteeing that Saint Benedict Catholic School’s students get the best fundamentals of the Spanish language.
