Mrs. Michelle Stanley
I am originally from Elmore, Alabama right outside of Montgomery. I lived there all my life until I went off to college at the University of Alabama. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Education and went to work in public school.
I have been teaching 11 years, and about 2 years ago I began searching for a position closer to my home. At the same time, I became troubled about the narrowing emphasis in public schools on test scores over instruction and the broader well-being of the child. Luckily at just that time I got the position here at St. Benedict School. I love my new school, and I am so glad to be in a school system that is concerned with the whole child: their faith, their behavior, and academic excellence.
I live in Elberta with my husband, Kevin, and our two children, Grace and Tate. We also have a great dane and a dachshund.
